We think it is very important to know your photographer before you make a decision. The photo team are the people you’ll probably spend the most time with on your wedding day, so it helps to feel comfortable and be able to reveal your true self.

Our approach

We like you just the way you are! Vulnerable, emotional, real and imperfect. That’s what makes us human. We love spontaneous moments and natural light. Our photography style blends a cinematic approach with documentary photography. As our motto says, we believe that happiness is more meaningful when is shared with others. We are social creatures and we naturally feel the need to celebrate our joy together. We seek for those dreamers who love to freely express their passion for each other. We are inspired by sunsets, true laughter, warm hugs, a foggy morning, the green of the trees, a gentle breeze or a moody music. We love to work with natural light, to capture the true essence of the moment. Just let yourselves carried away, we'll do the rest. We think that if you're in love, it's impossible to look bad in a photo.

How it all started

Elvis - For me, it all started in childhood, when I started to play with the family point and shoot film camera. I didn't know what photography was, I just liked to take photos of family and random things. Fast-forward to high school. The year was 2004 (I think) when I got my first phone with a built-in camera (the Siemens MC60). It had a 0.1 MP resolution camera, but for those times it was mind-blowing that you could even take photos with your phone. Many phones with a camera later, in 2011, I received a digital point and shoot camera (Nikon Coolpix S4000), that had a resistive touch screen and macro capabilities which blew me away. With this camera I took pictures of EVERYTHING :). Because it was so small, I've had it on me all the time. Then in 2012, my mom got a job bonus, and she was kind enough to spend it on me and I had to choose between a car and a photo camera. I hadn't got a driving license, so the choice was easy. I got my first DSLR, the Canon 60D with 18-55 kit lens, which was a great leap from that point and shoot camera. After a few months, I bought a 50mm 1.8, because I heard that it was good for portraits. Needless to say, all my friends had photos taken by me, and I couldn't be happier. I started using Lightroom and Photoshop, and messing around with photo editing. In 2013, I got a job as an apprentice photographer in Pitesti, and soon I was taking photos for graduation, baptism and even weddings. Between 2015 and 2022, I partnered with someone as a wedding photographer in Bucharest. It was good for the first couple of years, and I am grateful for all the experiences, it all helped me grow. But at some point, I just wanted to start my own thing, to start attracting more people that I resonate with. And the next step came naturally, as Irina was also into photography and was more and more involved in growing in this direction.

Irina - My photography path starts also back in childhood (can't remember the age) when my artistic personality started to develop in different forms: singing, dancing, painting, crafting and photography. The first digital camera used was a point and shoot Samsung (I guess) that I used to photograph every leaf and every living creature from my surroundings. I remember I wanted a DSLR so badly in high school, but didn't have one. Later in college, when I had to decide on a subject for my bachelor's thesis (as an IT student), I chose to do a photography course platform (using Java programming language - for all my IT guys and girls reading this), having little to no technical photography knowledge. And I got a 10. When I got my first job in IT field, I saved money each month from my 1700 lei salary and, after... 2 years, I got my first DSLR (yeeeeey), a Canon 100D. I took some photos while on vacations, but that was it, I didn't feel motivated to dive into photography world (something that I struggled with my entire life is low self-esteem) and my camera quickly started to collect dust. This thing changed when I met Elvis and we started to go out for photo shoots. He really made me feel comfortable in front of the camera and quickly my passion for taking photos came back to life. Something that I find really interesting is that back in childhood I didn't like to photograph people, I just took pictures of landscapes, dogs and plants and when I had to choose my path for college, I chose something that was not related to people. I wanted a job that was behind a computer. This ... correlated with what I do today is WOW for the 18 yo me. And the most beautiful part of being a photographer is meeting people and discovering their stories and witness their happiest moments.

Together - We met in 2018, on tinder and had our wedding three years later, in the pandemic year 2020, started our own photography business in 2023, and have worked together since then. We both have side jobs, but we hope to only rely on photography soon (fingers crossed). We were fortunate to be surrounded by talented people who guided us when we started our business together, helping shape not only our photography style but also the way we see and approach the wedding industry.

10 things about Irina written by Elvis

She LOVES chocolate, and candies, and sweets, and cookies, and cakes, basically everything that has sugar in it.
The only thing she loves more than chocolate is dogs. She's also afraid of cats.
Every now and then she finds a new hobby to pursue. Her new hobby is growing houseplants. She has multiple, and most of them survive. :)
When she's hungry and tired, you better not upset her.
Yes, her hair is naturally curly, and she's always in a dilemma about whether to cut it or not.
The mountain is her friend and she likes to go hiking everytime she has the chance.
In her spare time, she enjoys crafting handmade items like jewelry, crochet, and all kinds of creative projects.
Singing is also a passion of hers that, sadly, she doesn't pursue anymore. She even had a band for a little while.
She's in her 30s, but every time she tries to buy alcohol, she's asked for her ID.
Everytime we go for a walk, she lags behind because she has tiny legs.

10 things about Elvis written by Irina

Elvis is that friend anyone would want: he's a good listener and knows how to lighten the mood with a joke (or several).
Passionate about the art of cinematography, he could recite lines from "Filantropica" for hours. Fun fact: at one point in our lives, we both had "The Shawshank Redemption" as our favorite movie (this was before we knew each other).
He didn't eat tomatoes until he was 25.
We both started photography around the same time in our lives (high school).
The coffee must be MILK with coffee.
A good night's sleep for him = a 12-hour sleep.
He wears his camera around his neck even when he goes to buy bread.
If you want to give him a gift, buy him a street photography book (which he doesn't have yet).
He would love any crazy idea that I propose, but first he has to say NO.
His favorite thing to eat: everything I cook. :D
